Cisco C9800L-RMNT telepítőkészlet

The Cisco C9800L-RMNT installation kit is designed to provide all mechanical components required for mounting and integrating Cisco C9800L series controllers with compatible network switches. Finished in durable grey, the kit includes the brackets, fasteners and alignment parts needed to secure the controller in a rack or to attach it to supported switch models, simplifying physical deployment and reducing installation time.

Advantages

The kit offers factory-fit compatibility with Cisco C9800L series hardware, reducing the need for custom mounting solutions. Its robust metal components and corrosion-resistant finish provide long-term durability in typical data center and network closet environments. By consolidating mounting parts into a single kit, it streamlines inventory management and ensures consistent installation quality across multiple sites.

Suitable for

• Mounting Cisco C9800L series wireless controllers in network racks
• Attaching controllers to compatible Cisco switch chassis where supported
• Standardizing installation procedures across data centers and branch locations

Key specifications

• Color: grey finish suitable for data center environments
• Material: metal mounting brackets and steel fasteners
• Includes: mounting brackets, screws, spacers and alignment hardware
• Compatibility: designed for physical integration with Cisco C9800L series controllers and compatible switches
• Installation type: rack-mount and chassis-attach options depending on supported switch models

How to use

Confirm compatibility between the C9800L controller and the target switch or rack configuration before beginning. Unpack the kit and verify all components against the included parts list. Follow the Cisco hardware installation guide for the C9800L series: position the mounting brackets on the controller and secure them with the provided screws and spacers, then align the assembly with the rack or switch mounting points and fasten to ensure a stable attachment. Tighten fasteners to the torque values recommended by Cisco and perform a final inspection to verify secure installation.

Recommendations

Use certified Cisco installation procedures and tools, ensure grounding and ESD protection during installation, and perform mounting in a powered-down state when required by the hardware guide. Retain spare screws and small parts for maintenance and future moves.
