How to use

Position the Donner Neotrack LX so the front of the capsule faces the sound source at a practical distance to balance proximity effect and clarity. For vocal work, place the microphone about 10–20 cm from the mouth and adjust angle to reduce plosives; use a pop filter if needed. For instruments, test distances and angles to find the optimal tonal balance. Set input gain on your interface to avoid clipping while maintaining a healthy signal level, and monitor with headphones during setup.

Recommendations

Use the Donner Neotrack LX in acoustically treated or quiet rooms for best results. Pair it with a quality audio interface and a low-noise preamp for improved fidelity. Employ shock mounts, pop filters and foam windscreens as needed to reduce handling noise, plosives and air movement. Regularly check connections and keep the microphone protected when not in use.
