Fractal Design FD-A-BRKT-003 HDD-rögzítő konzol

The Fractal Design FD-A-BRKT-003 is a universal HDD mounting bracket that converts a standard 120 mm fan slot into a mount for a hard drive, SSD or pump. Made of durable black steel and measuring 112 mm × 112 mm × 6 mm, this bracket provides a compact, sturdy solution to increase a case’s hardware capacity and expand installation options.

Advantages

The steel construction ensures reliable long-term support for HDDs and SSDs while keeping weight low (0.064 kg). Its compact footprint fits standard 120 mm fan locations and offers compatibility with a wide range of chassis designs, enabling flexible placement of storage or cooling components.

Suitable for

• Mounting a 2.5" SSD in a 120 mm fan slot
• Securing a 3.5" or 2.5" HDD where drive bays are limited
• Installing a small pump in place of a fan for custom cooling loops

How to use

Remove the 120 mm fan from the chosen fan slot, align the Fractal Design bracket with the fan mounting holes, and secure it using the original fan screws or compatible mounting hardware. Attach the HDD, SSD or pump to the bracket using appropriate drive screws, then reconnect power and data or pump tubing as required. Ensure all screws are tightened evenly and check for clearance with adjacent components before returning the system to operation.

Recommendations

Use screws appropriate for the drive form factor (2.5" or 3.5") and confirm chassis clearance and airflow impact before permanent installation. Avoid overtightening screws to prevent deformation of the bracket or drive casing.
