Frissítőkészlet SILVERSTONE SST-G11313530-RT — előlapi USB Type-C (USB 3.1 Gen 2)

The SILVERSTONE SST-G11313530-RT upgrade kit adds a front-panel USB Type-C port with USB 3.1 Gen 2 support to compatible desktop PC cases. It provides a reversible Type-C connector placed on the case front for convenient access, enabling up to USB 3.1 Gen 2 transfer rates for external storage, smartphones and other peripherals. The module is intended as a simple way to expand front I/O without internal motherboard front-panel rework, making modern high-speed connectivity available from the front of the system.

Advantages

This upgrade kit supplies a front-facing USB Type-C port that supports USB 3.1 Gen 2 speeds for faster file transfers and reduced wait times when using external SSDs or large media files. The reversible connector improves daily usability by removing the need to orient the plug, and the front-panel placement offers quick access for charging and data connection. The form factor and connector type are designed for compatibility with typical desktop case front bays and internal header connections used in modern PC builds.

Suitable for

• Desktop users who need an additional front-panel USB Type-C port
• Connecting external NVMe or USB 3.1 Gen 2 SSDs for fast data transfer
• Charging and syncing modern smartphones, tablets and peripherals
• Upgrading older PC cases to add contemporary USB-C connectivity

Key specifications

• Interface: USB Type-C, reversible connector
• Data standard: USB 3.1 Gen 2 (up to theoretical 10 Gbps transfer rate)
• Mounting: front-panel module for desktop PC case installation
• Compatibility: designed for integration with standard front-panel openings and compatible internal headers
• Usage: provides data transfer and device connectivity from the front of the chassis

How to use

Install the SILVERSTONE SST-G11313530-RT module into an available front-panel slot on a compatible desktop case and connect the internal cable to the corresponding USB 3.1 Gen 2 header on the motherboard or adapter. Ensure the PC is powered off and disconnected from mains power before opening the case. After securing the module in place and attaching the internal connection, close the case, power on the system and verify the port is recognized by the operating system. Use a USB Type-C cable or device to access the port for data transfer or charging.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use USB 3.1 Gen 2–rated cables and connect to a motherboard header or adapter that supports USB 3.1 Gen 2. When connecting high-speed external drives, confirm the operating system and drivers support the device to achieve maximum throughput. If your case or motherboard requires adapters or additional screws, consult the case and motherboard manuals for correct mounting and header pinout information.
