Ergonomic working height.
With the Q-Riser 130 monitor stand it couldn’t be easier to make a huge ergonomic improvement just by making this one simple addition to your desktop. The Q-Riser 130 monitor stand raises your screen to an ergonomic correct viewing height. At the same time, it is also important to adjust the distance to the screen. Easily move your monitor stand in the depth of your desk, till the top of your monitor is just below your eye level. This monitor stand is designed to improve your sitting posture to prevent muscle pain and maximize comfort.
Ergonomic background
Distance between your eyes and the screen should be 50-80 cm (approximately an arm length), depending on monitor size and resolution. Adjust the distance of your screen (source: VGB DGUV Information 215-410, 2019, S. 93.).The angle of your line of vision to the middle of the screen should be approximately -35°, so also adjust the height of your screen (source: VGB DGUV Information 215-410, 2019, S.46.)
Height adjustment in 5 settings.
Rise your monitor by 60-80-100-120-140 mm with the Q-Riser 130 monitor stand. This monitor stand helps VDU workers to optimise their desk space and improve their posture. By placing your monitor on the monitor stand it is naturally elevated to an optimal position for the user. Adjust your monitor screen to the correct height, angle, and distance so that you automatically adopt an ergonomically correct posture. An optimised monitor position works a lot more comfortably and increases productivity by 10% compared with poor placement (Sommerich et al., 1998).
Environmentally friendly product.
The Q-Riser 130 monitor stand is produced from 100 % recycled materials. In turn it can be 100 % recycled again. This sustainable acrylic is made from 100 % recycled methyl methacrylate monomer instead of synthetic monomer. With this production process the life-cycle of cast acrylic can be increased and at the same time the use of raw materials is reduced and the carbon foot-print from sheet production is also reduced.
How to use
Place the Q-riser 130 on a stable desk surface and set the monitor or compatible device on top. Choose one of the five height positions by aligning the stand components until they click into place so the display sits at eye level. Route cables through the integrated cable management channel to keep cables organized. Use the space beneath the stand to store a keyboard, notebook, or other small items when not in use.
Recommendations
The monitor stand is intended for indoor use on level surfaces and for screens or devices within the specified weight and size limits. Do not exceed the 10 kg maximum load. Clean with a soft, damp cloth and avoid abrasive cleaners to preserve the acrylic finish.
