Rittal 7979.133 áramelosztó egység

The Rittal 7979.133 Power Distribution Unit is a 0U, three-phase PDU designed to supply power to multiple devices in a rack environment. It provides 18 AC outlets with a nominal input voltage of 230 V and supports a maximum current of 16 A, enabling rated power delivery up to approximately 11,000 W under appropriate conditions. The unit has a compact form factor (1095 mm × 44 mm × 70 mm) and a 3 m power cable, allowing installation in space-constrained server cabinets and network racks while keeping cable routing manageable.

Advantages

The PDU combines a high outlet count with a slim 0U profile to maximize usable rack space. Its three-phase design and 3 m cable support flexible placement and balanced power distribution across equipment. Constructed with a metal housing in silver and black finishes, the unit offers durability for continuous operation in data center and telecom environments. The unit’s 16 A current rating and 230 V nominal voltage match common European rack power standards, simplifying integration.

How to use

Install the PDU horizontally at the rear or side of a 19" cabinet in a 0U position, securing it according to the cabinet manufacturer’s mounting guidelines. Connect the integrated 3 m power cable to a compatible three-phase or single-phase supply as appropriate for your site’s wiring and ensure the supply meets the unit’s 230 V, 16 A ratings. Distribute equipment connections across the 18 AC outlets to balance the load and avoid exceeding the maximum current. Regularly inspect connections and cable routing to prevent strain or accidental disconnection.

Recommendations

For safe and reliable operation, verify the rack’s power requirements before connecting multiple devices. Use load balancing across phases where possible, and avoid loading the PDU beyond its 16 A rating. Implement regular visual inspections and integrate the unit into your facility’s electrical maintenance schedule. For installations in critical environments, combine this basic PDU with external monitoring or circuit protection solutions if real-time measurements and remote control are required.
