Acer PL2530i projektor

The Acer PL2530i is a DLP projector designed for bright, high-definition image projection in conference rooms, lecture halls and professional environments. It delivers 5000 ANSI lumens of brightness and a native 1080p (1920 x 1080) resolution, while supporting input graphics up to 3840 x 2160. The projector uses a laser light source with an expected lifetime of up to 20,000 hours and up to 30,000 hours in economic mode, providing stable light output and reduced maintenance compared with lamp-based projectors. The unit includes a full-size HDMI connector and an RS-232 serial interface for integration with AV control systems, and offers manual focus with a focal length range of 16.9–21.61 mm for flexible installation.

Advantages

The Acer PL2530i combines high brightness with full HD native resolution to maintain readable text and clear imagery in well-lit spaces. Laser illumination extends operational lifetime and reduces the need for frequent lamp replacements, while DLP technology ensures sharp contrast and consistent color performance. Compact housing and a white finish facilitate discreet installation in modern interiors. Built-in connectivity options such as full-size HDMI and RS-232 support simplified setup and compatibility with common source devices and control systems.

Suitable for

• Conference rooms and meeting spaces

How to use

Place the projector on a stable surface or mount it according to the venue’s installation plan, ensuring adequate ventilation around the enclosure. Connect a video source using the full-size HDMI input or integrate the unit into a control system via the RS-232 serial interface. Power on the projector and allow the laser light source to reach operating output; adjust the manual focus and position to achieve a sharp image at the desired screen size. Use the projector’s on-screen menu to select input source and adjust basic image parameters such as brightness, contrast and aspect ratio to match the projection surface and ambient light conditions.

Recommendations

For consistent image quality and extended service life, operate the projector in economic mode when maximum brightness is not required, maintain clear airflow around the device, and follow the manufacturer’s guidance for periodic cleaning of air filters and optical surfaces. During fixed installations, secure cabling and integrate the RS-232 interface with the venue’s control system to enable predictable power and input management.
