ACT CAT5E U/UTP flexibilis patchkábel sárga 100 m

ACT CAT5E U/UTP stranded patch cable in yellow on a 100 m reel. The cable contains four unshielded twisted pairs with stranded copper conductors (AWG24) and PVC jacket, designed for general Ethernet and network connections where flexibility and ease of routing are required.

Advantages

The stranded AWG24 conductors provide improved flexibility compared with solid-core cables, making this cable suitable for installations that require frequent handling or bending. The U/UTP construction reduces crosstalk between pairs without additional shielding, while the PVC outer jacket offers basic mechanical protection and flame-retardant properties typical for PVC-sheathed network cables. The 100 m reel format supports longer continuous runs without splicing.

Suitable for

• Ethernet patching and horizontal cabling in homes and small offices
• Flexible patch leads inside patch panels, racks, and equipment cabinets
• Temporary or movable network installations where cable flexibility is needed

Key specifications

• Cable type: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pairs)
• Conductor: stranded copper, AWG24
• Configuration: 4 pairs (Blue/White, Orange/White, Green/White, Brown/White)
• Cross-section per conductor: 0.14 mm² (4x2x0.14 mm²)
• Jacket material: PVC
• Length: 100 m reel
• Colour: Yellow

How to use

Unwind the required length from the reel and cut to size. Terminate the cable ends with compatible RJ45 connectors or keystone jacks following the T568A or T568B wiring standard. Use appropriate cable management (ties, organizers) to avoid sharp bends and maintain the cable's minimum bend radius. For patching, keep runs short where possible to preserve signal quality.

Recommendations

Use this CAT5E U/UTP stranded cable for typical Fast Ethernet and many Gigabit Ethernet deployments in flexible cabling scenarios; avoid installing in ducts or plenum spaces unless the PVC jacket meets local fire-code requirements. For longer permanent horizontal runs or environments requiring electromagnetic shielding, consider using solid-core CAT5E/CAT6 or shielded cable variants.
