Bosch 1 618 596 189 fúró, ütvefúró, 1 db

The Bosch 1 618 596 189 hammer drill bit is engineered for efficient drilling in hard materials. With a 5 mm diameter and a design compatible with rotary hammers, this single-piece drill bit provides precise hole-making in concrete, masonry and stone. Its construction focuses on durability and stability to maintain performance during repeated use, making it suitable for repair, installation and construction tasks that require accurate small-diameter holes.

Advantages

This 5 mm hammer drill bit combines a robust tip geometry and a hardened shaft to resist wear and minimize breakage. The shank and flute profile are optimized to remove dust and debris effectively, supporting consistent drilling speed and improved bit life. The single-piece format offers straightforward handling and fast tool changes when working with compatible rotary hammers.

How to use

Secure the drill bit in the rotary hammer according to the tool manufacturer's instructions, ensuring the correct shank type and a firm lock. Mark the drilling point, start at low speed to position the tip, then apply steady pressure while allowing the hammer action to do the cutting. Periodically withdraw the bit to clear dust and prevent clogging; for deep holes, pull the bit out more frequently. Use appropriate personal protective equipment, including eye protection, hearing protection and a dust mask when drilling masonry or concrete.

Recommendations

For best results when drilling hard materials, maintain a moderate feed pressure, avoid excessive side forces, and replace the bit if wear reduces cutting efficiency. Match the bit diameter to fixings and anchors specified for 5 mm holes, and use a drill with sufficient impact energy for durable performance.
