Bosch R780 csiszolótárcsa

The Bosch R780 sanding disc (model 2608619183, EAN 3165140960274) is designed for effective material removal on metal and stainless steel (Inox) surfaces. The disc features a flat centre and a vulcanised fibre backing that provides stability during sanding and supports a durable, consistent performance. It is supplied as a single high-quality disc compatible with X-LOCK systems and standard angle grinders.

Advantages

The X-LOCK R780 fibre disc delivers an excellent removal rate on both Inox and mild steel thanks to a top-size abrasive coating with cooling aids. The vulcanised fibre backing ensures dimensional stability during operation, and the keyless X-LOCK mounting enables fast, tool-free disc changes. The disc is suitable for clamping on X-LOCK or standard rubber backing pads and also fits standard angle grinders.

Suitable for

• Sanding and surface preparation of stainless steel (Inox)
• Material removal and blending on mild steel surfaces
• General metal sanding and deburring tasks
• Use with X-LOCK or standard angle grinders

How to use

Fit the disc onto a compatible X-LOCK angle grinder by pressing it onto the keyless X-LOCK interface until it locks, or clamp it onto a standard rubber backing pad if required. Operate the grinder at the manufacturer-recommended speed for metal sanding, applying even pressure and moving the disc across the surface to achieve uniform material removal. Replace the disc when abrasive performance diminishes.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment (eye protection, gloves, and hearing protection) and ensure the workpiece is securely clamped. Test on a small area to verify speed and pressure settings, and allow intervals for cooling when performing extended sanding on stainless steel surfaces.
