The compact 220 mm length and 310 g weight make the shears easy to control for detailed trimming and repetitive use. Ergonomic handle design reduces hand fatigue and improves grip during prolonged operations. Durable blade materials and a reliable closing mechanism contribute to consistent cutting performance and long service life under normal gardening conditions.

Suitable for

• Pruning young shoots and thin branches
• Shaping shrubs and ornamental plants
• Deadheading flowers and trimming perennials
• General maintenance in home gardens and allotments

Key specifications

• Cutting mechanism: bypass blades for scissor-like cutting
• Total length: 220 mm
• Weight: 310 g
• Intended use: manual pruning of living plant material
• Handle: ergonomically shaped for improved comfort

How to use

Hold the shears with the cutting blades aligned to the stem and make a single, steady snip just above a bud or node to encourage healthy regrowth. For best results, cut at a slight angle and avoid twisting the tool during the cut. Use the shears for branches that match the tool’s capacity—avoid forcing through stems that are too thick. Keep the handles closed when moving between plants and use the locking mechanism if present to secure the blades during storage.

Recommendations

Regularly inspect and clean the blades after use to remove sap and debris; wipe with a dry cloth and apply light oil to prevent corrosion. Sharpen blades as needed to maintain clean cuts, and lubricate the pivot point periodically for smooth action. Store the shears in a dry place and avoid using them on woody material beyond their recommended cutting capacity to preserve blade geometry and prolong service life.
