Cimco 131420 tisztító glettvas

The Cimco 131420 plaster trowel is a hand tool designed for applying and smoothing plaster and finishing compounds on interior and exterior walls. Constructed with a stainless steel blade, the trowel resists corrosion and maintains a flat working surface for consistent finishing results. An ergonomically shaped handle reduces hand strain and improves control during extended use, enabling precise spreading and feathering of plaster to achieve an even surface.

Advantages

The stainless steel blade provides durability and a smooth finish while resisting rust and wear. The balanced weight distribution and ergonomic handle improve control and reduce fatigue during repetitive tasks. The blade’s flatness and edge profile support accurate smoothing, helping to minimize surface imperfections and reduce the need for extensive rework.

Suitable for

• Applying and smoothing gypsum and cement-based plasters
• Finishing skim coats and jointing compounds
• Repairing small wall defects and filling minor cracks
• DIY renovation and professional plastering work

Key specifications

• Blade material: stainless steel for corrosion resistance and a smooth working surface
• Handle type: ergonomic grip designed for reduced hand fatigue
• Tool purpose: plaster application, smoothing and finishing of wall surfaces
• Construction: single-piece blade with attached handle for stable performance
• Suitable surfaces: interior and exterior masonry, drywall, cement and gypsum substrates

How to use

Prepare the wall surface by removing loose material, dust and contaminants. Mix plaster or finishing compound according to manufacturer instructions to a workable consistency. Load a thin layer of material onto the trowel and apply it to the wall at a shallow angle, using long, even strokes to spread and level the compound. Use the blade edge to feather transitions and remove excess material. Clean the blade regularly during use to avoid build-up that can affect finish quality.

Recommendations

For best results, use the trowel on properly prepared substrates and maintain a consistent plaster mix. Clean and dry the stainless steel blade after each shift to preserve its condition. When working on larger areas, alternate trowel directions and maintain light pressure to avoid creating ridges. Store the tool in a dry place to prevent handle wear and to keep the blade flat.
