Conceptronic M.2 SSD ház USB 3.1 Type-C

This M.2 SSD enclosure provides steady and efficient data transfer with speeds up to 10 Gbps. It uses a USB 3.1 Gen 2 super speed connection that is backward compatible with USB 3.0 and USB 2.0, and features a USB Type-C interface for easy connection. The ultra-slim aluminum housing improves heat dissipation, making the enclosure suitable for transferring large video files and creating backups. Note: does not support M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD.

Advantages

The aluminum casing offers improved thermal performance and a slim profile for portable use. USB 3.1 Gen 2 provides high transfer rates up to 10 Gbps while maintaining compatibility with older USB standards. A USB Type-C connector simplifies device connection and orientation.

Key specifications

• Interface: USB 3.1 Gen 2 (backward compatible with USB 3.0 / USB 2.0)
• Connector: USB Type-C
• Maximum transfer speed: up to 10 Gbps
• Form factor supported: M.2 SATA (does not support M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD)
• Housing material: aluminum (ultra-slim)

How to use

Insert a compatible M.2 SATA SSD into the enclosure according to the manufacturer’s installation instructions, secure it, and connect the enclosure to a host device using the USB Type-C cable. The device will operate at USB 3.1 Gen 2 speeds when connected to a compatible port and will fall back to USB 3.0 or USB 2.0 if necessary. Ensure proper ventilation during extended transfers to maintain optimal thermal conditions.

Recommendations

Use a USB 3.1 Gen 2 compatible port and cable to achieve the advertised 10 Gbps speeds. Do not install M.2 NVMe PCIe SSDs; use M.2 SATA SSDs only. Regularly back up important data and avoid exposing the enclosure to extreme temperatures.
