DeLOCK 12609 antenna

The DeLOCK 12609 antenna is a compact indoor Wi‑Fi antenna designed for use with devices operating on the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz WLAN bands. It provides a maximum gain of 1.2 dBi, a 50 Ω impedance and connects via an MHF connector with a 1 m RG‑178 cable. Its small dimensions and black finish make it suitable for integration into various network setups where space is limited.

Advantages

The antenna supports both 2.4–2.5 GHz and 5.15–5.875 GHz frequency ranges and offers a stable 50 Ω impedance for compatibility with typical Wi‑Fi equipment. With a 1 m RG‑178 cable and MHF connector it is ready for direct connection to compatible modules. Its compact size (14.7 mm × 40 mm) and light weight simplify installation in confined spaces.

Suitable for

• Indoor Wi‑Fi enhancement for routers and access points
• Connection to wireless modules and IoT devices with MHF connector
• Embedded systems and compact network equipment

Key specifications

• Model: DeLOCK 12609
• Frequency band: 2.4 - 2.5 GHz and 5.15 - 5.875 GHz
• Maximum gain: 1.2 dBi
• Impedance: 50 Ω
• Connector type: MHF
• Cable: 1 m RG‑178
• Colour: Black
• Dimensions: 14.7 mm (W) × 40 mm (D)

How to use

Connect the MHF connector to the corresponding antenna port on your wireless module, router, or access point. Position the antenna indoors in a location with minimal obstructions to the target coverage area. Route the 1 m RG‑178 cable so it does not stress the connector. No additional configuration is required at the antenna level; adjust device placement if needed to improve signal strength.

Recommendations

For best performance, mount the antenna vertically and avoid placing it directly next to large metal objects or other antennas. Test a few positions to determine the optimal placement for your specific environment and device.
