DeLOCK 18942 zsugorcső, 5 m x 20 mm, fekete

The DeLOCK 18942 heat shrink tube is a 5 m long black polyolefin sleeve with a maximum diameter of 20 mm, designed to provide insulation and mechanical protection for cables, wires and electrical tubes. When heat is applied the sleeve contracts to tightly enclose the cable, improving resistance to weather and physical damage while maintaining electrical insulation.

Advantages

This heat shrink tube offers a durable polyolefin construction that resists environmental effects and mechanical wear. Its 5 m length and 20 mm maximum diameter allow flexible use on different cable bundles, and the tight shrink fit ensures reliable insulation and strain relief without additional fasteners.

Suitable for

• Insulating individual wires and cable joints
• Protecting cable bundles from abrasion and moisture
• Repairing damaged cable sheaths
• Providing strain relief at connector ends

How to use

Cut the heat shrink tube to the required length, slide it over the cable or joint, and apply heat evenly using a heat gun, hot air tool or suitable heat source. Heat until the tube contracts tightly around the cable and then allow it to cool and set. Ensure connectors and heat-sensitive components are covered or removed before applying heat.

Recommendations

For best results, use a regulated heat gun and apply heat evenly, keeping the heat source moving to avoid overheating. Select a tube diameter slightly larger than the cable before shrinking to ensure a secure fit after contraction.
