DeLOCK 62788 belső PCIe adapter

The DeLOCK 62788 is an internal PCIe adapter that connects to the system via an SFF-8643 (SAS) host interface and provides a PCI Express x4 NVMe slot. It supports the PCIe 3.0 standard and is intended to accept PCIe cards with an M.2 slot for M.2 PCIe modules. The adapter has a compact design in black and green with dimensions approximately 70 mm × 95 mm × 10 mm.

Advantages

This adapter enables adding an NVMe-capable PCIe x4 slot to systems with an SFF-8643 host connection, supporting PCIe 3.0 transfer speeds. Its internal form factor and standard interfaces make it suitable for integration in servers or workstations where M.2 PCIe modules need to be used via a PCIe card. The compact dimensions simplify installation in constrained internal spaces.

Suitable for

• Adding a PCIe x4 NVMe slot to systems with SFF-8643 (SAS) host ports
• Using PCIe cards that carry an M.2 PCIe slot for M.2 NVMe modules
• Upgrading internal storage options in servers or workstations

Key specifications

• Host interface: SFF-8643 (SAS)
• Output interface: PCI Express x4 (NVMe slot)
• PCIe standard: PCIe 3.0
• Internal: Yes
• Product colour: Black, Green
• Dimensions (W × D × H): 70 mm × 95 mm × 10 mm

How to use

Install the adapter inside the system and connect the SFF-8643 cable from the host to the adapter's SAS port. Insert a compatible PCIe card that contains an M.2 PCIe slot into the adapter's PCIe x4 NVMe slot and secure it according to the card manufacturer's instructions. Ensure the system is powered off during installation and that all connections are seated firmly before powering on.

Recommendations

Use PCIe cards and M.2 modules that explicitly support PCIe 3.0 and NVMe to achieve expected performance. Verify chassis clearance for the adapter's dimensions and follow anti-static precautions during installation. Consult the motherboard or system documentation for SFF-8643 port routing and compatibility.
