DeLOCK 66529 USB gender changer

This adapter by Delock can be used to block the transfer of data from devices with USB Type-A connection. The data lines are not connected, so that the adapter can only be used for charging. This means that a PC cannot access the data of e.g. a connected smartphone.

Advantages

The DeLOCK 66529 physically disconnects USB data lines while preserving the 5 V power connection, allowing only charging through USB Type-A ports. Its compact gender changer design in black enables easy joining of two USB Type-A cables without additional software or drivers. The passive construction ensures compatibility with USB 2.0 power specifications and simple, maintenance-free operation.

Suitable for

• Preventing data transfer when charging smartphones or tablets from public or shared USB Type-A ports
• Connecting two USB Type-A cables to extend reach while allowing power delivery only
• Use in environments where data access must be restricted but charging is required
