DeLOCK 83393 SAS-kábel

The DeLOCK 83393 SAS cable is a 1 m Serial Attached SCSI cable with a Mini SAS HD x4 SFF-8643 connector on one end and four SATA 7-pin connectors on the other. It is designed to connect a Mini SAS HD x4 controller to up to four SATA drives, providing high-speed data transfer for internal PC and server installations. The cable has a durable build and a black-and-silver design suitable for professional environments.

Advantages

This SAS cable supports multiple SATA drives from a single Mini SAS HD x4 port, simplifying internal cabling in storage systems. The 1 m length offers flexibility in rack and chassis layouts while maintaining signal integrity for reliable performance. The combination of a SFF-8643 Mini SAS HD connector and four SATA 7p connectors ensures compatibility with common server and workstation hardware.

Suitable for

• Connecting a Mini SAS HD x4 (SFF-8643) controller to up to four SATA drives
• Internal cabling in servers, NAS devices, and workstations
• Upgrading or expanding storage arrays where SAS-to-SATA connectivity is required

Key specifications

• Cable length: 1 m
• Connector 1: 1 x Mini SAS HD x4 (SFF-8643)
• Connector 2: 4 x SATA 7p
• Product colour: Black, Silver

How to use

Power down the system and open the chassis before connecting. Insert the Mini SAS HD x4 (SFF-8643) connector into the corresponding controller port, ensuring correct orientation. Route the cable to the drive bay area and connect each SATA 7-pin plug to a SATA drive's data port. Secure the drives and close the chassis, then power on the system. Confirm that the controller and connected drives are recognized in the system BIOS or storage management software.

Recommendations

Use the cable for internal connections only; avoid tight bends and excessive pulling. Keep the length appropriate to your chassis layout to maintain signal quality. For hot-swap configurations, ensure the controller and drives support hot-plugging before connecting or removing drives while powered.
