How to use

Install the module into a compatible patch panel or adapter frame by aligning the module release mechanism with the panel slot and snapping it into place according to the patch panel manufacturer’s instructions. Terminate or connect SC Simplex fiber connectors to the front face of the module, ensuring proper insertion until an audible or tactile click is felt. Route the fiber cables through available cable management paths, avoiding sharp bends and maintaining appropriate bend radius. For removal, depress the module latch or release tab and pull the module out straight to prevent damage to the housing or installed fibers.

Recommendations

Use the module in conjunction with compatible SC Simplex connectors and maintain recommended fiber bend radii during routing. Label ports as needed for serviceability. Inspect connectors and adapters with appropriate cleaning tools before mating to minimize insertion loss. Follow standard fiber handling safety practices and manufacturer guidance when installing or reconfiguring connections.
