DIGITUS patchkábel - CAT6 - S/FTP - Snagless - Cu - 3 m - piros

Future-oriented standards and high-end quality for your network. The DIGITUS Category 6 (Class E) patch cord is designed and tested to ISO/IEC 11801 and DIN EN 50173 Category 6 specifications and provides reliable performance up to 250 MHz. The cable features a copper conductor, LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) sheath for low smoke and improved fire behaviour, and a transparent red connector with metal shielding for easy identification of Category 6.

Advantages

The patch cord ensures compliance with ISO and EN channel specifications and delivers tested characteristics such as near end crosstalk (NEXT) up to 250 MHz. It is PoE+ ready, uses a copper conductor for stable signal transmission, and the LSZH sheath reduces hazardous emissions in case of fire. The molded boot includes kink protection, strain relief and a latch protection that prevents the latching lever from breaking.

Key specifications

• Category: Category 6 (Class E)
• Frequency: up to 250 MHz
• Conductor material: Copper (Cu)
• Sheath: LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen)
• Connector: transparent red with metal shielding
• PoE: PoE+ ready
• Boot: molded boot with kink protection, strain relief and latch protection
• Standards: ISO/IEC 11801, DIN EN 50173

How to use

Connect the patch cord between network devices or between patch panels and switches to establish Category 6-compliant links. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks and avoid tight bends near the connector by using the molded boot with kink protection. Use appropriate cable management to prevent strain and preserve performance, and verify link performance with suitable testing equipment when installing into critical infrastructures.

Recommendations

For installations in public or confined spaces where fire safety is critical, choose LSZH-sheathed cables and verify compatibility with existing infrastructure. Use the red transparent connector for easy identification of Category 6 links and test the cabling after installation to confirm compliance with ISO/EN channel requirements.
