DP M - VGA F kábeladapter VALUE 12.99.3135

The VALUE Cable adapter DP M - VGA F (12.99.3135) is intended to connect a graphics card or other DisplayPort-equipped source to a VGA (D-Sub 15) monitor. The adapter provides a DisplayPort male plug and a VGA female socket and works in one direction only: the DisplayPort plug must be connected to the source device. The adapter is black and compact, with a short attached cable for flexible positioning.

Advantages

This adapter enables direct connection from a DisplayPort output to a VGA input without requiring an active converter when the source supports DP-to-analogue output. Its compact size and short cable length make it convenient for tight spaces and cable routing. The standard HD D-Sub 15-pin VGA connector ensures compatibility with legacy monitors.

Suitable for

• Connecting a PC graphics card with DisplayPort to a VGA monitor
• Using legacy VGA displays with modern DisplayPort sources
• Short-distance desktop or workstation setups

How to use

Insert the DisplayPort male plug into the source device’s DisplayPort output (for example a graphics card). Connect a VGA cable from the adapter’s VGA female socket to the VGA input on the monitor. Power on the source and the display; configure the display settings on the source device if necessary. Note that the adapter only converts a DisplayPort output to an analogue VGA input and will not convert VGA signals to DisplayPort.

Recommendations

Use this passive adapter only when the DisplayPort source provides an analogue VGA signal (DP++). For sources that do not provide analogue output, use an active DisplayPort-to-VGA converter. Avoid excessive bending of the short cable and ensure secure connector seating to maintain signal quality.
