EFB Elektronik 691826TS patch panel

The EFB Elektronik 691826TS is a 1U rack-mounted patch panel engineered for organized network cabling in server rooms and data centres. Finished in black, the panel provides a compact and professional front appearance while keeping connections accessible. Designed to mount in standard 19-inch racks, it supports tidy cable routing, helps maintain airflow in rack enclosures and reduces cable clutter behind equipment.

Advantages

This 12-port patch panel offers a space-saving 1U form factor suited to dense rack installations. The black finish gives a consistent look with other rack equipment and helps conceal dust and marks. Robust construction ensures mechanical stability for frequent patching and re-patching, while the front-facing layout simplifies connection management and inspection without disturbing adjacent devices.

Suitable for

• Organizing Ethernet or network cabling in server rooms and data centres
• Small and medium-sized network racks in offices or communication closets
• Environments where a compact 1U solution is required to save rack space

Key specifications

• Form factor: 1U rack-mounted panel
• Number of ports: 12
• Colour: Black
• Mounting: Standard 19-inch rack compatibility
• Material: Durable metal construction for mechanical stability

How to use

Mount the patch panel in a standard 19-inch rack using appropriate screws and cage nuts for a secure fit. Route each network cable to the rear termination points and terminate according to the network cabling standard in use (for example, T568A or T568B for Ethernet). Use cable management accessories such as horizontal managers or Velcro straps to maintain neat cable paths and avoid excessive bend radii. Label ports on the front to match your network documentation for straightforward identification and maintenance.

Recommendations

Ensure proper cable management and strain relief at the rear of the panel to prevent connector stress. Maintain bend radius guidelines for the specific cable type, and plan port labeling consistent with your network map to streamline troubleshooting and future changes.
