EFB Elektronik EK323.3 PS/2 kábel, 3 m

The EFB Elektronik PS/2 Cable 3m (model EK323.3) is a 3-metre white cable with 6-pin Mini-DIN connectors on both ends, designed for connecting PS/2 keyboards, mice and other legacy peripherals to compatible ports. The cable provides a straightforward wired connection that supports standard PS/2 signal transmission and is intended for use where a longer reach than built-in cables is required. Its outer sheath and connector housings are made for everyday use in home and office environments.

Advantages

This PS/2 cable offers reliable contact through its 6-pin Mini-DIN connectors and a flexible 3 m length that increases placement options for peripherals. The neutral white colour integrates unobtrusively into most setups. The cable’s construction is aimed at stable signal transfer and continuous use, reducing the need for frequent replacements.

Suitable for

• Connecting PS/2 keyboards to desktop PCs or KVM switches
• Connecting PS/2 mice to compatible ports
• Extending reach between legacy peripherals and computer ports
• Use in home offices, professional workplaces and server rooms with PS/2 interfaces

Key specifications

• Cable length: 3 m
• Connector type (both ends): 6-pin Mini-DIN (PS/2)
• Colour: White
• Intended signal type: PS/2 serial peripheral interface
• Application: Wired connection for PS/2 input devices

How to use

Insert each 6-pin Mini-DIN connector into the corresponding PS/2 port on the device and host, taking care to align the pins correctly before applying gentle pressure. Ensure both connected devices are powered off when attaching or detaching the cable to avoid signal issues or damage to connectors. After connection, power on the devices and verify that the peripheral is recognized and functioning as expected.

Recommendations

For long-term reliability, avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling on the cable; route it away from heat sources and heavy foot traffic. If used with keyboard-mouse switches (KVM), ensure the switch supports PS/2 protocols. Store the cable coiled without tight loops when not in use to preserve connector integrity.
