Elsys EMS mágnes

With a wireless range of up to 15 km line-of-sight and an IP67-rated enclosure, the ELSYS EMS Magnet redefines reliability in remote monitoring. This LoRaWAN door/window contact sensor combines a decade-long battery life with precise magnetic reed switch detection, making it the go-to choice for industrial and outdoor applications where maintenance access is limited.

Overview

The EMS Magnet is a compact, surface-mountable sensor engineered for seamless integration into LoRaWAN networks operating in the EU868 MHz band. It detects the open or closed state of doors, windows, or other movable barriers using a magnetic contact principle. The device transmits status updates along with battery voltage and internal temperature, providing comprehensive environmental awareness. Configuration is flexible via downlink commands or NFC, and firmware updates can be applied over-the-air, ensuring the sensor remains up-to-date without physical intervention.

What stands out

• Exceptional battery life of up to 10 years from a single 3.6V AA lithium thionyl chloride cell, drastically reducing maintenance cycles.
• Rugged IP67-rated ABS housing withstands dust, rain, and extreme temperatures from -20°C to +60°C.
• Long-range LoRaWAN connectivity with up to 15 km line-of-sight and 2 km in urban environments.
• Built-in tamper detection alerts you to unauthorized removal or manipulation.
• Flexible configuration via NFC or downlink commands, plus over-the-air firmware updates.
