Extralink patchkábel SC/APC-SC/APC 60m egymódusú simplex G.657A1 3mm

Patchcord SC/APC-SC/APC SM G.657A1 Simplex 3.0 mm, length 60 m, with LSZH sheath. The cable is a single-mode simplex fiber optic patchcord with SC/APC connectors on both ends and a 3.0 mm diameter jacket, intended for connecting optical network equipment such as switches, media converters, and FTTH devices.

Advantages

The patchcord uses G.657A1 single-mode fiber, offering improved bend performance compared to standard single-mode fibers. Its SC/APC connectors provide low back reflection suitable for systems sensitive to return loss. The LSZH outer jacket reduces halogen emissions and limits smoke generation in case of fire, increasing safety in enclosed or public spaces.

Suitable for

• FTTH connections between OLT and ONU/ONT devices
• Interconnecting switches, media converters, and optical equipment in data centers and telecom racks
• Indoor backbone and horizontal optical links where low-smoke materials are required

Key specifications

• Fiber type: single-mode G.657A1
• Connector type: SC/APC — SC/APC (simplex)
• Length: 60 m
• Cable diameter: 3.0 mm
• Sheath material: LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen)

How to use

Route the patchcord between the two optical ports ensuring connectors are clean before insertion. Insert SC/APC connectors with the keyed orientation until they click into the adapter. Avoid tight bends and maintain the recommended minimum bend radius for G.657A1 fiber to preserve signal integrity. If necessary, secure the cable along trays or management panels to prevent strain at connector ends.

Recommendations

Before installation, inspect and, if needed, clean connector end-faces with appropriate fiber cleaning tools. Store and handle the patchcord to avoid kinks and exceedance of the cable's minimum bend radius; use LSZH-rated pathways for indoor deployments where low smoke emission is required.
