Fali rack EFB Elektronik 691612VGR.60

The EFB Elektronik 691612VGR.60 is a 12U wall-mounted rack designed to optimise indoor equipment installation where floor space is limited. Constructed from steel sheet with a welded frame and supplied pre-assembled, the rack provides a compact 19" mounting system in a light grey (RAL7035) finish. The cabinet includes depth-adjustable 19" profile rails at the front, a swing-frame at the rear for access, a lockable front door with certified safety glass window and metal hinges, and an IP20 protection rating for indoor environments. The unit supports a maximum load of 40 kg and is supplied with accessories for cable entry and earthing.

Advantages

The rack combines a robust welded steel housing with a design that facilitates installation and maintenance: a rear swing-frame allows easy access to mounted equipment, while the depth-adjustable galvanised 19" rails accommodate different device depths. A lockable front door with metal hinges and a safety-glass window provides physical security and visibility, and internal earthing ensures grounding across cabinet sections. The pre-punched cable entry points and preparation for plug & play fan units simplify ventilation and cable routing without additional cabinet modifications.

Suitable for

• Wall-mounted network and server equipment in offices and technical rooms
• Structured cabling and patch-panel installations in small to medium IT closets
• Telecommunications equipment and active network components requiring 12U of rack space
• Environments needing a lockable, visible front door for controlled access

How to use

Mount the cabinet to a suitable load-bearing wall following local building codes and using appropriate fixings (not included). Install equipment on the provided depth-adjustable 19" rails, using the supplied captive nuts. Use the rear swing-frame to access device connections during installation and maintenance. Route cables through the pre-punched openings or brush terminal to maintain tidy entry points, and, if required, install the prepared fan units to improve air circulation. Secure the front door with the supplied keys to restrict physical access.

Recommendations

For safe operation, ensure the total mounted equipment weight does not exceed 40 kg and distribute load evenly across the 19" rails. Use appropriate wall anchors for the support surface and consider adding leveling feet or a castor set on the bottom mounting points when configuring near-floor installations. Maintain unobstructed ventilation openings and, if equipment generates significant heat, install the compatible fan units prepared for the cabinet.
