Fischer 077891 csavarhorgony 50 mm

The Fischer 077891 screw anchor is a metal expansion anchor engineered for reliable fastening in diverse base materials. With a length of 50 mm and a drill hole diameter of 6 mm, this screw anchor provides a compact solution for medium-duty connections. The design creates a secure mechanical interlock in drilled holes, delivering consistent load transfer for fixed installations such as fixtures, brackets and light structural components.

Advantages

The screw anchor combines a short overall length with a robust expansion mechanism to ensure dependable holding power in solid and hollow masonry where appropriate. Its 6 mm drill diameter and 50 mm length enable installation in confined spaces while maintaining stability. Supplied in packs of 50, the anchors allow for efficient work progress and reduced downtime when completing multiple fastenings.

Suitable for

• Mounting light to medium fixtures on concrete, brick and block
• Securing shelving brackets and supports
• Fastening conduit clips, cable trays and electrical boxes
• Interior and exterior installation of non-structural elements

Key specifications

• Anchor length: 50 mm
• Required drill hole diameter: 6 mm
• Minimum drill hole depth: 60 mm
• Material type: metal expansion anchor
• Package quantity: 50 pieces per pack

How to use

Mark the fastening position and drill a hole with a 6 mm bit to a depth of at least 60 mm. Clean the hole of dust and debris to ensure proper expansion of the anchor. Insert the screw anchor into the drilled hole until the flange rests against the base surface, then tighten the screw to activate the expansion mechanism and achieve the specified holding capacity. Follow standard torque guidance for the screw size being used and verify secure seating after tightening.

Recommendations

Verify substrate suitability before installation: solid concrete and full masonry are preferred for maximum load capacity, while hollow or perforated blocks may require specific drill positioning or alternative anchors. Do not exceed recommended drill depth and diameter; use appropriate personal protective equipment and follow local building codes for load-bearing applications.
