Gedore 2297140 csillag-villáskulcs

The Combination Wrench Gedore 2297140 is a forged, matt chrome-plated hand tool made from Gedore vanadium steel (31CrV3). It combines a flat, UD-profile design with a hollow shaft and warp-resistant geometry to provide high torque transfer and a comfortable grip. The spanner has identical size at both ends, a precisely ground jaw that matches the spanner size, and a working angle that varies by size: 7° for 8–15 mm, 6° for 16–27 mm and 5° for 30–36 mm. Total depth is 60 mm with a height of 40 mm and a weight of 137 g.

Advantages

The tool offers high torque transmission and reliable ratchet loosening with fast tightening functionality. Its hollow profile lightens the tool and improves handling while the double T-girder effect increases stiffness and reduces warp. Surface treatments — matt chrome-plating and manganese-phosphated locking insert and pawl — enhance durability and reduce glare. The jaw is ground exactly to spanner size and the mechanism integrates proven Gedore components for robust performance.

How to use

Select the correct size end of the combination wrench and place the jaw squarely onto the nut or bolt head. Use the ratchet function for loosening and the fast-tightening action for quicker tightening runs. For bit ratchet use, attach adaptor 7 RA or 7 RB (sold separately) before applying torque. Maintain a firm, comfortable grip on the hollow shaft and apply steady force in the intended turning direction according to the wrench's working angle.

Recommendations

Inspect the wrench before use for visible damage or excessive wear. Use appropriate personal protective equipment and avoid sudden impacts. Store the wrench in a dry place to prevent corrosion and periodically clean and lightly lubricate the ratchet mechanism for reliable operation.
