Goobay CAK 50674 SATA táp-adapter

The Goobay CAK 50674 SATA Power Adapter is a compact cable solution designed to provide reliable power delivery to SATA devices. With a cable length of 0.13 m and two female connectors, this adapter enables quick connection of additional drives or replacement of existing power leads inside desktop systems. The multicolour design helps distinguish connections while maintaining compatibility with standard SATA power ports. Manufactured by GOOBAY and identified by MPN 50674 and EAN 4040849506741, the adapter is intended for internal PC power routing and straightforward integration into typical desktop setups.

Advantages

The short 0.13 m cable reduces cable clutter and improves airflow inside the case while providing the required power connections for 3.5" or 2.5" SATA drives and other SATA-powered components. Having two female connectors offers flexibility when adding or rearranging storage devices. The adapter's standard SATA connector form factor ensures compatibility with common power supplies and SATA peripherals, and its compact design fits easily into constrained spaces within the chassis.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Connecting additional SATA hard drives or SSDs inside a desktop PC
• Replacing a damaged or missing short SATA power lead
• Temporary power routing during system upgrades or drive testing
• Use in compact or space-constrained internal layouts

How to use

Install the Goobay CAK 50674 SATA Power Adapter by aligning the SATA power connectors with the corresponding power ports on the drive or power supply and pushing them firmly until seated. Use the short 0.13 m cable to connect a drive close to the power source; ensure the connectors are oriented correctly to avoid forcing the plug. For safety, power down the system and disconnect the mains before connecting or disconnecting the adapter. After installation, confirm that the drive is recognized by the system and that power delivery is stable.

Recommendations

Use this adapter for internal, low-voltage SATA power connections only. Avoid routing the cable across fans or sharp edges and keep it clear of moving parts. If you observe unstable power or damaged connectors, discontinue use and replace the adapter. For optimal airflow and cable management, pair the short cable length with careful component placement inside the chassis.
