Gyepszellőztető Einhell GC-SA 1231/1

The Einhell GC-SA 1231/1 lawn scarifier combines a 1200 W inverse-speed electric motor with a compact design to aerate and scarify small to medium-sized lawns. It features an adjustable working depth up to 9 mm and a working width of 31 cm, enabling removal of moss, thatch and surface weeds while the 28 L collection box captures debris. Built with ball-bearing mounted rollers — an 8 double-blade cutting roller for scarifying and a 42-claw aerator roller for soil aeration — the unit provides consistent torque for continuous operation. The housing is made of impact-resistant plastic and the foldable guide handle reduces storage space requirements. The scarifier is intended for typical residential lawns and is rated for 230 V AC input.

Advantages

The machine offers dual functionality: scarifying with double blades and aerating with a claw roller, both mounted on ball bearings for smoother operation and longer service life. Three-step working depth adjustment and a standby position protect the tools and substrate and allow adaptation to different grass and soil conditions. Large wheels ease maneuvering across uneven terrain while the 28 L collector reduces the need for frequent emptying. Compact dimensions and a folding guide rail make storage straightforward.

Suitable for

• Maintaining small to medium lawns up to about 300 m²
• Removing moss, thatch and surface weeds from turf
• Opening compacted soil to improve water and nutrient penetration
• Home garden care and seasonal lawn maintenance

How to use

Before use, assemble and secure the foldable guide rail and ensure the collector bag is fitted correctly. Connect the scarifier to a compatible 230 V power outlet. Select scarifying or aerating roller according to lawn condition and set working depth using the three-step adjustment; start with a shallow setting and increase depth gradually if needed. Move the unit slowly across the lawn in overlapping passes to ensure even treatment, emptying the collection box when full. After finishing, switch to the standby position to protect the tools, disconnect from the power source and clean debris from the rollers and housing.

Recommendations

Use the scarifier on dry or slightly damp turf and avoid extremely wet conditions to prevent soil compaction and damage to the machine. For best results, scarify in early spring or autumn when grass growth is active and overseed or fertilize as required after treatment. Regularly inspect the blades and claws for wear and replace them if damaged; store the unit folded in a dry place.
