HellermannTyton 162-20250 kábelvédő cső, fekete, 1 m, 1 db

HellermannTyton 162-20250 is a black cable insulation sleeve supplied as a 1 m length in a single-piece pack. It is designed to provide electrical insulation and mechanical protection for wires and cable joints and is suitable for repairs, harnessing and strain relief in automotive, industrial and household applications. The sleeve is made for use where a robust, heavy-walled protective covering is required to protect cable assemblies from mechanical stress and environmental contact.

Advantages

The insulation sleeve offers mechanical protection and electrical insulation in a single component, reducing the need for multiple repair materials. Its heavy-walled construction improves resistance to abrasion and mechanical damage, while the flexible form factor allows it to be fitted over cable bundles and joints. Supplied as a 1 m length, the product is easy to cut to size for on-site repairs or installation tasks.

Suitable for

• Repairing damaged cable insulation in automotive wiring
• Harnessing and bundling cable runs in industrial installations
• Providing strain relief at cable joints and connectors
• Household wiring repairs and protective cover for exposed conductors

Key specifications

• Color: black
• Length: 1 m
• Packaging: single piece
• Primary function: electrical insulation and mechanical protection
• Application environments: automotive, industrial, household

How to use

Measure the length of sleeve required and cut the 1 m piece to the appropriate size with suitable cutting tools. Slide the sleeve over the cable, splice or joint that requires protection, ensuring full coverage of exposed conductors. For a secure fit, position the sleeve so that it overlaps any existing insulation or heat-shrink sections; if additional mechanical fixation is needed, use appropriate clamps, cable ties or adhesive-backed tape compatible with the installation. Ensure that the sleeve does not interfere with connector coupling or moving parts.

Recommendations

Store the product away from direct sunlight and strong oxidising chemicals. For installations exposed to oils or solvents, verify compatibility with the local environment and consider additional sealing measures at terminations. When used in vehicle or industrial applications, inspect periodically for wear and replace the sleeve if significant abrasion or damage is observed.
