When switching, allow a few seconds for the display and source to negotiate resolution and HDCP handshake before playback.

Recommendations

For reliable 8K/60Hz performance, use high-quality HDMI cables rated for the bandwidth required by 8K signals. Ensure connected sources and the display support the desired resolution and HDCP version. If experiencing handshake or compatibility issues, try power-cycling connected devices and the switch, and verify cable connections.
