Connect the supplied USB cables from the card’s internal ports to the host device connectors or front-panel headers as required. Install any necessary drivers supported by your operating system (the card supports various Windows versions including Windows 7 and Windows Server editions) and verify the operating system recognises the new USB 3.0 ports before connecting high-speed devices.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use USB 3.0/3.2 Gen 1 certified cables and connect high-bandwidth devices (external SSDs, HD capture devices) directly to the card’s ports. Ensure the host system BIOS and OS drivers are up to date to guarantee full SuperSpeed throughput and stable operation.
