IOGEAR GUB431 kábeles nyomtatóváltó

The IOGEAR GUB431 Wired Printer Switch lets up to four computers share a single USB printer, multi-function printer or other USB device without the need to plug and unplug cables. The unit supports USB 2.0 data transfer rates up to 480 Mbps and is backward compatible with USB 1.1. Its compact housing and USB-powered design make it suitable for small offices and home workspaces.

Advantages

The switch automatically grants printer access to the computer that sends a print job, while a manual push-button lets users switch other USB devices between connected computers. Active-port LEDs show which computer currently has access, and a switch-lock function prevents accidental or unauthorized switching. No external power supply or software installation is required.

Suitable for

• Sharing a single USB printer or multi-function printer between up to four computers
• Connecting one external hard drive, scanner or other USB device to multiple PCs/Macs

Recommendations

Use the switch in a dry, well-ventilated area and avoid placing heavy objects on the device. Enable the switch-lock when you need to prevent other users from changing the active connection. For best performance with high-speed transfers, use USB 2.0-compatible cables and devices.
