Kábeladapter DeLOCK 65430

The DeLOCK 65430 cable gender changer allows extending a serial interface by using a Cat5 / 5e / 6 cable and provides a Sub-D 9p connector on one end and an RJ45 connector on the other. The adapter supports individual pin assignment: insert the cable's conductor into the desired hole of the connector and lock it into the housing. It is available in black, blue and silver.

Advantages

This gender changer enables flexible extension of RS-232/serial connections over standard network cable, supports custom pin mapping for compatibility with various devices, and is compact and easy to install without special tools. The Sub-D 9p and RJ45 interfaces offer a durable mechanical connection suitable for field or laboratory use.

Suitable for

• Extending serial (Sub-D 9p) connections over Cat5 / 5e / 6 cable
• Connecting devices with Sub-D 9p ports to RJ45-based cabling
• Custom pinout configurations for industrial or bespoke equipment

Connect the Sub-D 9p side to the serial device. Verify connections before powering the system to avoid signal or pinout conflicts.

Recommendations

Use quality shielded or unshielded Cat5/5e/6 cable depending on environment; check device pinout diagrams to map signals correctly and secure the connection to prevent accidental disconnection. Avoid using the adapter in environments with excessive moisture or mechanical stress.
