How to use

Insert the 3-pin XLR connector into the female XLR socket and plug the 6.3 mm jack into the corresponding instrument or line input. Ensure both connectors are fully seated to avoid intermittent contact. Verify signal routing and level settings on connected equipment before applying audio signals. For balanced-to-unbalanced conversions, check the connected devices for appropriate wiring and, if necessary, adjust gain staging to compensate for level differences.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, avoid subjecting the adapter to excessive mechanical stress or twisting at the connector junctions. Use the gender changer as part of a tidy cable management approach to prevent accidental disconnection. When converting between balanced and unbalanced signals, monitor for hum or noise and, if present, consider using a dedicated DI box or transformer to preserve signal integrity.
