Kábelvédő fonott cső DeLOCK 18927

The DeLOCK 18927 braided sleeving is a 10 m long fiberglass sleeve designed to insulate and protect cables, electrical tubes and wires from high temperatures, abrasion and wear. With a maximum expandable diameter of 4 mm and a white finish, the sleeving helps bundle exposed cables for a tidy, safer installation by reducing the risk of short circuits and mechanical damage.

Advantages

This fiberglass sleeving offers thermal resistance and electrical insulation while remaining flexible for routing and bundling. The braided construction resists abrasion and extends cable service life, and the 10 m length allows multiple uses or coverage of longer cable runs. Its small maximum diameter fits slim cables and harnesses, providing a discreet protective layer.

Suitable for

• Insulating individual wires and small cable bundles
• Protecting exposed cables from abrasion and dirt
• Applications requiring heat-resistant sleeving for electrical lines
• Neat cable routing in electronics, appliances or control panels

How to use

Slide the braided sleeving over cables or wires by feeding the cable bundle through the sleeve opening; for branched harnesses, use scissors to cut the sleeve to length and finish the ends with heat-shrink tubing or appropriate adhesive to prevent fraying. Ensure cables are powered off while installing, and arrange the sleeving so it does not compress connectors or impede airflow around components.

Recommendations

For best results, select sleeving size based on the bundled cable diameter and avoid overstretching beyond the specified maximum diameter. When working near sharp edges, add additional protective layers or routing to prevent localized wear. Store the sleeving in a dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve material properties.
