How to use

Attach the lens to a Micro Four Thirds camera body and enable the camera’s contrast-detection AF (face detection supported) for accurate focusing. Use the focus-range switch on the barrel to choose the 0.15 m setting for life-size macro work or the 0.50 m setting for subjects at longer close distances. For video and quiet focusing, use the camera’s AF mode that benefits from the lens’s stepping motor. When shooting handheld in low light, keep MEGA O.I.S. enabled to reduce motion blur.

Recommendations

For best results in macro work, use a steady hand or a small support and select the shorter focus range to achieve 1:1 magnification.
