Knipex 34 12 130 ESD-fogó

ESD Pliers Knipex 34 12 130 are precision long-nose pliers designed for exact assembly and fine mechanical tasks in ESD-sensitive environments. Crafted from chrome vanadium ball-bearing steel, these pliers have a total length of 135 mm, a jaw width of 3.5 mm and a jaw length of 21.9 mm, and weigh approximately 62 g. The tool combines a bolted joint, carefully finished joint surfaces and a smooth-running double spring to ensure even, low-friction movement and a gentle, consistent opening action.

Advantages

The pliers offer dissipative, electrically discharging handles suitable for electrostatic-sensitive work and smoothly ground gripping surfaces with finely rounded edges for secure handling and reduced risk of damage to small components. They are approximately 20% lighter than conventional electronics pliers and feature ergonomically optimised multi-component handles for comfortable use during extended precision tasks.

Suitable for

• Precision assembly and repair in electronics
• Fine mechanics and watchmaking work
• Gripping, holding and bending small components and wires

How to use

Hold the Knipex 34 12 130 by its ergonomically optimised handles and position the slim jaws around the component, wire or part to be gripped. Apply steady, controlled pressure to perform gripping, holding or bending operations. The bolted joint and smooth-running double spring provide consistent opening and closing across the full stroke, supporting precise positioning and gradual manipulation of small parts.

Recommendations

Use these ESD pliers in properly grounded workstations when handling electrostatic-sensitive components. Keep the jaws clean and free of debris and inspect the bolted joint periodically for secure assembly. Do not use the pliers for cutting hardened materials or as a substitute for heavy-duty tools.
