Knipex 70 01 125 átlós oldalvágó

The Knipex 70 01 125 diagonal pliers are compact hand cutters designed for general-purpose cutting of soft and hard wire. Made from forged chromium-vanadium electric steel with oil hardening and induction-hardened cutting edges (approx. 62 HRC), these 125 mm pliers offer precise, clean cuts even at the tips and feature a narrow head profile for work in confined spaces. Plastic handles provide a comfortable grip while the lightweight 80 g construction supports fine, controlled operation.

Advantages

Precision cutting edges and additional induction hardening ensure long service life and reliable cutting performance on thin copper wires and a variety of other conductors. The narrow head allows access in tight areas, and the high-quality forged steel construction provides strength and durability. The compact 125 mm length combines maneuverability with cutting capacity suitable for everyday electrical and assembly tasks.

Suitable for

• Cutting thin copper and other soft wires
• Cutting hard wire and small components
• Electrical installation and maintenance tasks
• Work in confined or tight spaces

How to use

Position the wire as close as possible to the cutting edge tips for the cleanest result, then squeeze the handles firmly and evenly until the material is severed. For harder materials, use the tool at a right angle to the wire and avoid twisting motions. Keep the pliers clean and free of debris to preserve the cutting edge and ensure consistent performance.

Recommendations

Use the diagonal pliers for their intended purpose of cutting wires and small parts. Do not use them to cut hardened bolts, nails, or materials exceeding the tool's capacity. Wear appropriate eye protection when cutting. Store the tool dry and occasionally lubricate the joint to maintain smooth operation.
