Knipex 95 36 250 kézi kábelvágó

The Knipex 95 36 250 hand cable cutter is built for precise cutting of electrical and multi-core cables. Constructed from hardened steel with a cutting geometry that minimizes deformation, this 250 mm tool provides reliable performance in installations and maintenance tasks. The red-and-yellow ergonomic handles offer a secure grip and improved control, while the compact, lightweight construction (approximately 652 g) supports extended use without excessive fatigue.

Advantages

This cable cutter delivers clean, burr-free cuts and is designed to resist wear through a robust steel construction and optimized cutting edges. The ergonomic handle profile reduces hand strain and improves leverage for cutting thicker conductors. Compact length and balanced weight make the tool easy to position in confined spaces while maintaining cutting power.

Suitable for

• Cutting electrical single-core and multi-core cables
• On-site electrical installation and maintenance
• Work in confined spaces such as switch cabinets and distribution boxes
• Professional electricians and technical service teams

Key specifications

• Overall length: 250 mm
• Weight: approximately 652 g
• Material: hardened steel cutting parts with insulated handle grips
• Handle design: ergonomic red and yellow grips for secure hold
• Cutting performance: designed for clean cuts on electrical and multi-core cables

How to use

Position the cable between the cutting blades close to the ferrule or desired cut point. Hold the handles firmly and apply steady pressure until the blades fully close and sever the conductor. For thicker cables, ensure the cutter is correctly aligned and use gradual, controlled force to avoid blade slippage. After use, clean any debris from the blades and store the tool in a dry place to maintain cutting performance.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and insulated gloves when working on live or potentially live circuits. Verify the circuit is de-energized before cutting conductive cables. Regularly inspect the cutting edges for wear and replace the tool when cuts become deformed or require excessive force.
