Lanview LVO231008 kábelhüvely ezüst 45 mm

The Lanview LVO231008 Cable Sleeve in silver is a compact sleeve for organizing and protecting cables. Supplied in packs of 100, each sleeve is 45 mm long and lightweight (approx. 40 g per pack), suited for tidying cable runs and reducing tangling in home and office environments. The sleeve is also suitable for joining and holding fiber optic cables in place during installation where two cables need to be connected.

Advantages

The steel splice sleeve provides a simple mechanical support for cable joints and helps protect connection points from minor physical stress. Its silver finish offers a neutral appearance for visible cable runs. The sleeve has a minimum shrink temperature of 120°C, which defines the temperature at which heat-shrinkable properties activate during installation.

Suitable for

• Organizing power and data cables at home
• Cable management in office workstations and server rooms
• Temporary or permanent joining of two fiber optic cables during installation
• Protecting cable joints from light abrasion and movement

How to use

Slide the sleeve over the cable ends to be joined so that the splice area is centered under the sleeve. If using for fiber optic splicing, follow standard fibre preparation and splicing procedures before positioning the sleeve. Apply heat evenly to the sleeve until the material reaches its shrinking point (minimum 120°C) and the sleeve conforms snugly around the joint. Allow the sleeve to cool and verify that the joint is held securely.

Recommendations

Use appropriate heat sources and follow safety precautions when heating the sleeve. For fiber optic installations, use correct fiber preparation, splicing tools, and inspection equipment to ensure optical performance is not compromised.
