LogiLink AH0002 HDMI–DVI adapter

The LogiLink HDMI to DVI Adapter AH0002 converts an HDMI signal to a DVI-D connection, allowing HDMI-equipped sources to be connected to DVI displays. The adapter has an HDMI 19-pin female connector on one side and a DVI-D (24+1) male connector on the other. Its compact, black housing provides a straightforward, space-saving solution for transmitting high-quality digital video up to 1920x1200 resolution without signal conversion complexity.

Advantages

This adapter enables direct digital video transmission between HDMI sources and DVI displays, preserving image clarity and supporting resolutions up to 1920x1200. The plug-and-play design requires no additional drivers or power. Its compact size and standard connector types ensure compatibility with most monitors, projectors and graphics cards that support DVI-D input. The solid construction and fixed connectors reduce the chance of loose connections in typical desktop or AV rack setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting laptops, media players or set-top boxes with HDMI output to DVI-D monitors or projectors
• Office workstations where an HDMI source must drive a DVI-only display
• Home entertainment systems combining HDMI devices with older DVI screens
• AV installations requiring a simple adapter for single-link digital video up to 1920x1200

Key specifications

• Input connector: HDMI 19-pin female
• Output connector: DVI-D (24+1) male
• Maximum supported resolution: up to 1920 x 1200
• Signal type: single-link digital video (no analog VGA)
• Housing colour: black
• Compact, inline adapter form factor

How to use

Connect an HDMI cable from the source device to the HDMI female side of the adapter, then insert the DVI-D male connector into the DVI input on the display or projector. Ensure both devices are powered and set the display input to the correct DVI channel. Because the adapter carries digital video only, it does not transmit audio; use a separate audio connection if sound is required. No drivers or software are necessary for typical operating systems.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, use quality HDMI and DVI cables and avoid excessive bending near the adapter. Confirm that the target display supports the desired resolution and refresh rate. If you need audio transfer, pair this adapter with a separate audio cable or use devices that support audio over alternative outputs.
