LWL-patchkábel Garbot FO kábel 9/125 OS2 egymódusú

Garbot FO Cable 9/125 OS2 single-mode is an optical fibre patch cable designed for long-distance, low-loss signal transmission in fibre optic networks. With a 9/125 µm core/cladding profile and OS2 optical grade, the cable is intended for backbone links, metro networks, interbuilding connections and data centre infrastructure where single-mode performance is required.

Advantages

The cable offers low attenuation and stable single-mode propagation suitable for long-haul and high-speed applications. Its 9/125 µm geometry and OS2 specification ensure compatibility with standard single-mode transceivers and passive components. The patch cable provides consistent optical performance with minimal dispersion over extended distances, making it appropriate for telecom and enterprise backbone deployments.

Suitable for

• Backbone links in data centres and server rooms
• Metro and long‑distance network segments
• Interbuilding and campus connections
• Telecommunications and ISP infrastructure

Key specifications

• Fibre type: single-mode optical fibre
• Core/cladding diameter: 9/125 µm
• Optical class: OS2 (single-mode, ITU-T G.652 compliant performance range)
• Typical application: long-distance, low-loss signal transmission
• Compatibility: standard single-mode transceivers and passive fibre components

How to use

Install the Garbot FO Cable by routing it through the chosen conduit, trunking or rack channels, avoiding tight bends and excessive tension during pulling. Terminate or connect the cable using compatible single-mode connectors and ensure clean end faces with an appropriate cleaning tool prior to mating. Verify link performance with an optical power meter or light source and inspect for attenuation to confirm correct installation.

Recommendations

Handle the cable carefully to preserve the fibre geometry: maintain recommended minimum bend radius, use protective boots or strain relief at connector ends, and perform endface cleaning before connecting. For critical links, validate end-to-end loss and document results to ensure the OS2 single-mode performance meets network requirements.
