Manfrotto 290 XTRA állványkészlet

The Manfrotto 290 XTRA Kit is a three-section aluminium tripod designed for digital and film cameras. It provides stable support with a maximum operating height of 1695 mm and a minimum working height of 405 mm. The kit includes a lightweight aluminium fluid head with pan bar and quick release camera plate featuring secondary security, offering smooth pan and tilt control for camera loads up to 4 kg. The tripod weighs 2.56 kg and is supplied with a shoulder bag for easy transport.

Advantages

Aluminium leg tubes and a reinforced top casting increase rigidity and durability while adjustable aluminium leg-locking levers compensate for wear over time. Four selectable leg angle positions expand composition options and a rapid centre column increases height flexibility. A rubber leg warmer improves grip and ergonomics. The included fluid head provides fluid movement, pan and tilt locks, and a quick release plate with safety catch.

Suitable for

• Landscape and location photography
• Studio and controlled-environment shoots
• Travel and on-location work requiring compact packing
• Photographers using digital or film cameras up to 4 kg

• Sections: 3
• Height range: 405–1695 mm

How to use

Extend the tripod legs to the desired height and select one of the four leg angle positions for the required stability and composition. Tighten the aluminium leg-locking levers, adjusting their tension if necessary to ensure secure locking. Mount the fluid head and attach the camera to the quick release plate, engaging the secondary safety catch. Use the pan bar to control smooth panning and the head locks to fix tilt or pan when required. Fold the centre column or extend it for additional height as needed and place the tripod in its shoulder bag for transport.

Recommendations

For best long-term performance, periodically check and, if needed, adjust the leg-locking lever tensions and keep the tripod clean and dry. Avoid exceeding the head’s 4 kg load limit and carry the tripod in the supplied shoulder bag to protect it during transport.
