Metabo 613052840 sarokcsiszoló

The Metabo 613052840 angle grinder is a compact, battery-powered grinding and cutting tool designed for mobile and workshop use. It features a brushless motor for efficient energy conversion and longer runtime, accepts grinding discs with a diameter of 12.5 cm, and delivers a maximum no-load speed of 10,000 RPM. With a cutting depth of up to 2.7 cm and a lightweight construction of 1.8 kg, the tool combines portability and performance. The unit is powered by an 18 V Lithium Polymer battery system and includes overload protection to reduce the risk of motor damage during demanding tasks.

Advantages

The brushless motor improves efficiency and reduces maintenance compared with brushed alternatives. The 12.5 cm grinding disc size balances cutting capacity and maneuverability for confined spaces. At 1.8 kg the angle grinder is easy to handle for extended periods, while the 18 V Lithium Polymer power source provides cordless freedom and consistent power delivery. Integrated overload protection helps preserve tool life and maintain safe operation under variable loads.

Suitable for

• Light to medium metal cutting and grinding
• Removal of rust and paint from metal surfaces
• Masonry grinding and edge shaping on smaller jobs
• Portable on-site repairs and maintenance

How to use

Install a compatible 125 mm grinding or cutting disc according to the manufacturer's mounting instructions and ensure the disc guard is correctly positioned. Fit a charged 18 V Lithium Polymer battery and secure it in place. Hold the tool with both hands, support the workpiece, and start the grinder, allowing it to reach full speed before contacting the material. Use steady, even pressure; avoid forcing the tool. After use, release the switch, wait for the disc to stop completely, then remove the battery before changing discs or performing maintenance.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment including eye protection, hearing protection, and gloves. Select the correct disc type and grit for the material and task. Avoid prolonged use at maximum load to prevent overheating; allow the tool to cool if overload protection activates. Store the angle grinder and batteries in a dry, cool place when not in use.
