Metabo 625608000 csiszolólap

The Metabo 625608000 sanding sheet is designed for grinding and sanding a wide range of materials including metal, polyester, stainless steel, steel and wood. Each sheet measures 100 mm by 150 mm and the pack contains 10 sheets. The brown abrasive surface is suitable for medium to heavy-duty surface preparation and removal of paint, rust or imperfections prior to finishing.

Advantages

These sanding sheets provide consistent abrasive performance across the entire sheet area and are compatible with standard handheld and machine sanding pads sized for 100 x 150 mm. The brown grit is formulated to balance cutting speed and durability, allowing effective material removal while maintaining sheet life. The uniform backing helps ensure even sanding results and reduces the risk of tearing during use.

Suitable for

• Sanding and smoothing wooden surfaces before painting or varnishing
• Removing rust and old coatings from steel and stainless steel
• Surface preparation of metal and polyester parts
• General-purpose workshop sanding tasks and spot repairs

Key specifications

• Sheet dimensions: 100 mm x 150 mm
• Quantity per pack: 10 sheets
• Color: brown (indicates durability and suitability for heavier tasks)
• Suitable materials: metal, polyester, stainless steel, steel, wood

How to use

Select a sanding pad or backing plate that matches the sheet dimensions. Attach the sheet securely according to the tool or pad manufacturer instructions. Start with a coarser grit if heavy material removal is needed, then move to finer abrasives for smoothing. Apply even pressure and maintain a steady motion to avoid gouging; check the surface frequently and replace sheets when abrasive performance decreases or the backing becomes damaged.

Recommendations

For best results, use with appropriate personal protective equipment such as safety goggles and a dust mask. Test on a small area before full-scale work to confirm compatibility with the substrate and finish. Store packs flat in a dry environment to preserve abrasive integrity.
