Optikai érzékelő Hager TG550A

The Hager TG550A optical detector is a wireless battery-powered smoke detector designed for residential and small commercial environments. It uses an optical sensor to detect visible smoke particles and provides early warning of potential fire incidents. The unit has a compact circular design with a diameter of 11.6 cm and a low profile height of 49 mm, enabling discreet ceiling mounting. The detector is rated for long battery life of up to 10 years, reducing maintenance frequency and ensuring continuous protection.

Advantages

The optical sensing technology offers reliable detection of smoldering fires and slow-burning sources of smoke. Wireless operation simplifies installation because no dedicated wiring is required, and the long-life battery reduces the need for frequent replacements. Its compact dimensions allow the detector to fit standard ceiling locations while maintaining a low visual impact. Constructed for consistent performance, the device is suitable for integration into safety systems where optical detection and battery autonomy are preferred.

Key specifications

How to use

Mount the detector on a ceiling or high on a wall following local codes and the manufacturer’s mounting recommendations. Power the unit with the supplied battery or approved replacement and perform an initial functional test to confirm the alarm and wireless signaling operate correctly. Regularly test the detector according to local safety regulations and replace the device or its battery in line with the indicated service life. Position detectors away from ventilation outlets, kitchens, or bathrooms where non-fire-related aerosols or steam could trigger false alarms.

Recommendations

Install detectors in all sleeping areas and on every level of the building for complete coverage; pair wireless units with compatible control panels or interconnected alarm systems to ensure building-wide notification. Follow national fire safety standards for spacing and placement, and schedule periodic tests and visual inspections to maintain reliable operation throughout the battery lifetime.
