Patch panel LANBERG PPU5-1124-B 24 portos 1HE 19 inch Cat5e UTP

LANBERG PPU5-1124-B is a 24‑port 1U 19" Cat5e UTP patch panel designed to organise Ethernet cabling within rack systems. The panel provides 24 RJ45 ports compatible with Cat5e UTP cabling and fits into a standard 19" rack occupying a single 1U space. Rear cable management features help maintain neat and accessible connections for distribution and maintenance in small office or server room environments.

Advantages

The patch panel offers a compact 1U footprint that saves rack space while delivering 24 easily accessible RJ45 ports. Its Cat5e UTP compatibility supports standard Ethernet cabling and provides a straightforward termination point for horizontal cabling. Rear cable routing keeps cables organised, reduces strain on connectors and simplifies identification and reconfiguration of network runs.

Suitable for

• Small office network racks
• Server rooms and data closets
• Network distribution points and patching fields
• Structured cabling terminations for Cat5e networks

Key specifications

• Number of ports: 24 RJ45 ports
• Form factor: 1U, 19" rack-mount
• Cable standard: Cat5e UTP
• Port type: Unshielded (UTP) Ethernet
• Cable management: Rear cable routing for organised connections

How to use

Install the LANBERG PPU5-1124-B into a standard 19" rack using the mounting holes and hardware appropriate for a 1U unit. Terminate each incoming Cat5e UTP horizontal cable onto the corresponding RJ45 keystone or punch-down module according to standard pinout (T568A or T568B) and ensure firm, correct seating of each connector. Route excess cable to the rear cable management area to maintain orderly runs and reduce stress on connections. Label ports as required for easy identification and future maintenance.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, use Cat5e UTP cabling and follow recognised termination standards. Avoid sharp bends and excessive cable tension when routing to the rear management area. Periodically inspect terminations and labels to ensure continuity and correct mapping of network ports.
