Patchkábel Digitus CAT 6A S/FTP PUR 25 m

Patch cord Digitus CAT 6A S/FTP PUR 25m provides high-performance data transmission for structured networks. The 25 m cable features S/FTP shielding for improved protection against electromagnetic interference and is equipped with RJ-45 connectors. The PUR (polyurethane) sheath offers oil and UV resistance plus enhanced mechanical durability, making this patch cord suitable for industrial networking environments. The cable is PoE+ ready and tested to Category 6A specifications up to 500 MHz.

Advantages

The PUR sheath delivers oil resistance, UV resistance and self-extinguishing behavior for increased safety and longevity in demanding conditions. S/FTP shielding and copper conductors ensure stable signal integrity and reduced crosstalk. Molded boots provide kink protection, strain relief and latch protection to prevent connector damage during installation and use. Manufactured and tested to ISO/IEC 11801 and DIN EN 50173 Category 6A standards, the patch cord supports reliable performance up to 500 MHz.

Suitable for

• Industrial network installations exposed to oil or UV
• High-speed LAN and backbone links requiring Category 6A performance
• PoE+ powered devices (IP cameras, access points, VoIP phones)
• Environments needing durable, flexible cabling over longer distances (25 m)

How to use

Install the patch cord between compatible RJ-45 ports on switches, patch panels and end devices. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks and route the cable to avoid sharp bends; the molded boot provides kink protection but maintain recommended bend radii for Category 6A cabling. For PoE+ devices verify power budgets and port compatibility before connecting. Regularly inspect the PUR sheath and connector boots for signs of wear in harsh environments.

Recommendations

For optimal long-term performance, avoid prolonged exposure to harsh chemicals not specified for PUR materials and maintain minimum bend radius during installation. Use in accordance with Category 6A channel requirements and verify network testing after installation to confirm compliance and performance.
